Fellowship Programmes
BlackBox Fellows are placed in programmes of varying tenures, between 6 weeks and 9 months. The tenure of each emerging, mid-career or established artist is decided on a case-by-case basis. Taking into consideration the intricacy of expression, technique, use of materials, intended project among others.
Each cohort has artists as different levels in their career to foster community, peer review and knowledge sharing, most importantly.
The selection process is handled with rigour and fairness by the Selection Committee, chaired by our Director.
How To Apply
To apply as a BlackBox Fellow, submit the following;
- A current CV
- An updated portfolio
- Artist statement/Bio
- Up to 10 high resolution images of your work work. Each image should be no larger than 1MB and saved with a title, year, dimensions and materials.
